Betty Johnson is a consultant with Flynn Heath Holt Leadership.
Betty applies practical lessons from her 25 years of experience as a senior executive, business leader, consultant, and coach to help her clients identify the behaviors and goal misalignments that create churn, and then helps them bridge these barriers to get where they want to go.
Betty’s expertise includes workplace meeting science, change management, strategy, effective teaming behaviors, negotiation, and conflict management. Over her career, Betty has served clients in a wide range of industries including energy, financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, professional services, research & development, retail, and transportation.
Prior to joining Flynn Heath Holt Leadership, Betty has held corporate positions as Vice President at Omega Performance, Managing Director at Root Learning, Senior Vice President at Roger Schwarz and Associates, and Regional Director at American Management Association.
Betty is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Leadership and Change (May 2020) at Antioch University with dissertation research on workplace meeting science. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English at the University of North Carolina—Charlotte. Betty’s personality assessment tool certifications include Interaction Science Learning Needs Inventory and Interaction Science Team Learning Inventory.
Betty extends her passion for generating leadership excellence by serving on the board of her local Girl Scouts council, and as a mentor and coach to nontraditional college students through Women Executives for Community Service.
